Pas si loin...

Sur leur glaçon , les BDL passaient au révélateur ce soir en Coupe de la Ligue face aux Diables Rouges de Briançon.

Pour le début de la phase retour des matchs de Coupe de la Ligue, Grenoble chute, une nouvelle fois, face à ce que l'on pourrait appeler sa "bête noire" du début de saison.

En effet, les coéquipiers de Julien BAYLACQ (#13) allaient laissé échapper la première confrontation du genre en Ligue Magnus (4-1) et comptaient bien rectifier le tir ce soir à Pôle Sud.

Mais ce sont les Diables Rouges qui allaient les premiers, sur une percée solitaire de Marc-André BERNIER (#41), faire trembler les filets grenoblois (0-1).

Dans une rencontre physique et accrochée, les BDL réussissaient à redorer le "blason grenoblois" par l'intermédiaire de Ed McGRANE (#11) bien servi par Luc TARDIF (#75) et Maxime SUZZARINI (#68) (1-1).

Lucide et efficace devant la cage, Briançon remettait le couvert à 10 minutes avant la fin de la rencontre. Poussés par son public, les BDL tentaient le tout pour le tout sans trouver la faille...

Score final : Grenoble 1 - Briançon 2.
